"Up!" "

On the afternoon of September 2nd, the XCA2600, the world's largest tonnage all-terrain crane independently developed by XCMG, lifted a 173-ton weight off the ground at the commissioning site, marking the successful first lift of the "world's first lift". The people present were extremely excited.

At the work site, Shan Zenghai, the deputy general manager of Xuzhou Heavy Machinery Co., LTD., looked up at this "giant" that extended its mechanical arm to a height of 160 meters, unable to hide his excitement.

Having been engaged in the independent research and development of super-large tonnage cranes for many years, Shan Zenghai has witnessed the rapid progress of XCMG's all-terrain cranes over the past five years - from 1,200 tons, 1,600 tons, 1,800 tons to the current 2,600 tons. This not only once again breaks the world record for the largest tonnage held by XCMG, but also represents a new technological breakthrough, which will contribute to the country's green and low-carbon development.

Super-large tonnage cranes are mainly used in the installation of wind turbine units. In recent years, China's wind power industry has developed rapidly, and the process of large-scale wind turbines has accelerated. Due to the fact that the weight of the fans is generally over a hundred tons and the overall height is over a hundred meters, coupled with the complex construction environment, higher technical requirements are put forward for the hoisting equipment.

The newly launched XCA2600 has mastered three core technologies: high-performance flexible boom technology, super lift technology and independent suspension technology, embodying the latest innovative achievements of XCMG. The chief designer of the product said that the new technology has increased the lifting height by 20 meters and enhanced the lifting capacity by 40

Meanwhile, the XCA2600 is the world's first equipment equipped with a 10-axis chassis. It can be interchanged with the XCC2600, which is also the world's largest tonnage telescopic boom crawler crane, within about 2 hours. It can adapt to the hoisting of wind turbines with a working height of 160 meters and a capacity of less than 8 megawatts, improving the installation efficiency of China's super-large onshore wind turbines by 20%.

Accelerating independent innovation is XCMG's tireless pursuit.

At present, XCMG has 130 PCT international units. Seven international standards and 254 national and industry standards were formulated and revised. Over the past five years, XCMG's R&D investment has increased by 5.6 times, with 4,356 new valid items added, accounting for more than half of the total. It has won the National Gold Award and the only second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award in the industry.

The launch of high-performance and high-tech content products has also been fully recognized by the market. XCA2600 has now received 20 orders and will make a big push in the construction of wind power projects across the country in the future.
