Starting from December 1, 2022, the production, import and sale of non-road mobile machinery and diesel engines with a power of 560kW or less (including 560kW) that do not meet the requirements of the National IV emission standards are prohibited.

Weichai Lovol Construction Machinery was the first in the industry to launch research and development efforts to meet the National IV emission standards. It has joined forces with Weichai Power and Linde Hydraulics to continuously challenge the "three highs" limits. As one of the main drafters of the non-road stage IV laws and regulations, Weichai Power has taken the lead in releasing a full range of high-end non-road stage IV engines. It has dispatched R&D personnel to the Weichai Loewer (Qingdao) test field, and the three parties have collaborated on research and development to break through technical barriers.

In the summer of 2022, Weichai Lovol Construction Machinery was the first to release a full range of new products meeting the National IV emission standards, fully switching and delivering them to customers. From excavators to loaders, from micro-excavators to mine excavators, from AT boxes to HST hydrostatic systems, advanced and mature exhaust gas after-treatment technology, fuel-efficient and high-efficiency engines, once released, quickly won the favor of customers.
