Recently, in Heyuan, Guangdong Province, the first LNG-powered inland waterway transport vessel "Yuehuayuan 9528" was launched for sea trials, marking the official start of the new energy-powered transport ship era in Heyuan.

The total length of the vessel is 63.5 meters, with a cargo capacity of 2,060 tons. It is equipped with Weichai 170 series gas engines, which have low energy consumption and a battery life of up to 120 hours. It is more intelligent, safe, green and low-carbon.

Oil-electric hybrid multi-functional maritime service vessel

Coincidentally, in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province, the country's first oil-electric hybrid multi-functional maritime service vessel, "Furui 688", was successfully launched.

The main engine of this vessel is equipped with two 360kW Weichai X6170ZC Marine power units, and the auxiliary engines are also two 50kW Weichai Marine power units. It has added a hybrid power system integrating DC distribution, propulsion control, energy management and Marine power batteries, which can save fuel consumption and carbon emissions by more than 50% in a single voyage.
