Chasing dreams first, from nothing to something

In 1977, Lingong successfully trial-produced its first Z450 loader, officially entering the construction machinery field and achieving the first successful leap in product transformation and upgrading. In 1979, the ZL40 loader passed the national appraisal and became one of the first batch of qualified loaders in China. Since then, loaders have become a traditional representative product of Lingong. From a struggling start-up to a new starting point for industrial transformation, Lingong has been able to establish a firm foothold in the loader field and become one of the four major loader enterprises in China.

In the tide of reform and opening up, Lingong officially embarked on an era of independent development and self-reliance. In 1998, Lingong passed the ISO9001 quality system certification. In 2004, Lingong's series of loaders were awarded the title of "China's Famous Brand Product". In 2005, the production and sales volume of loaders exceeded 10,000 units. In 2007, the first-generation energy-saving product, the LG953L loader, was born. Lingong embarked on a grand strategic blueprint for green development and was the first in the construction machinery industry to conduct research on energy conservation and emission reduction technologies. In 2009, Lingong's first-generation energy-saving product LG953L was launched on the market. Within a year, it achieved a production and sales volume of over 10,000 units, ranking first in the industry in terms of single-unit sales for ten consecutive years, with cumulative sales exceeding 10 billion yuan. After the launch of the second-generation and LNG products and the maturation of the third-generation energy-saving technology products, Lingong has now fully entered the research and development of the fourth-generation energy-saving technology products. In 2016, Lingong was successfully included in the list of the first batch of national manufacturing single-champion demonstration enterprises announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology due to the outstanding performance of its L95X series loaders in terms of market share, industry influence and customer reputation.

Lingong began to venture into the excavator industry in the 1990s, well aware that only by firmly grasping the key core technologies in its own hands can it have absolute say in the market.

In 1994, the first excavator jointly produced by Lingong and Komatsu Corporation of Japan was successfully trial-produced. In 1999, the LG120 excavator was developed. In 2002, the "LG120W Wheeled Hydraulic Excavator Project" was included in the National Technological Innovation Plan for 2002. In 2006, the LG655 excavator was successfully trial-produced and its technology was appraised by experts as reaching the international advanced level. In 2008, the first medium excavator LG6220 rolled off the production line successfully...... The research and development and manufacturing of Lingong excavators have been constantly advancing, and their quality has also been continuously improving. In 2010, it officially launched a product series consisting of 7 excavators, gradually achieving a historic breakthrough from a traditional loader manufacturer to a full-line construction machinery product manufacturer.

During this period, in order to change the industry situation where the main control valves of excavators have long relied on imports, Lingong learned from and drew on advanced foreign technologies. While its products are constantly being upgraded and iterated, the product line layout of Lingong excavators is also rapidly improving. From small excavators, medium excavators to large excavators, it now has a full range of models. Meanwhile, to support the construction of green mines, Lingong independently developed and successively launched multiple generations of "Hammer King" series products such as E6500FB, E6600FB, and E6700FB. These products have been comprehensively improved in terms of power, hydraulics, structure, fuel consumption, efficiency, and driving comfort, and have received unanimous praise from users. In 2020, it won the gold medal in the third "Governor's Cup" Industrial Design Competition of Shandong Province and has been awarded the title of one of the TOP50 annual products of China's construction Machinery for many times.

In October 2021, Lingong integrated the advanced technologies and experiences of large mining excavators at home and abroad, independently developed and released two super-large mining-specific excavators, ME105 and ME130, achieving a technological breakthrough in 100-ton class excavators, marking a brand-new development stage for Lingong excavators.

Nowadays, the sales volume of Lingong excavators has ranked among the top three domestic brands, establishing the industry's say in the excavator field. In 2016, Lingong Group and Sandvik established Lingong Mining through strategic cooperation, further integrating the entire industrial chain of mining equipment including drilling, loading, excavation, leveling, pressing and transportation, and completing the layout of a complete set of solutions for mining equipment.
