Power upgrade, no urea required

The 6M series engines adopt a DOC+DPF exhaust gas treatment solution, which does not consume urea and enables active regeneration while the system is in operation. It not only eliminates the time and investment required for adding urea and maintaining the urea system, but also extends the effective operation time. Meanwhile, the engine has been optimized and adjusted for the operation conditions in the Chinese market. The net power of the three models is 180, 200, and 220 horsepower respectively, and they have a large torque reserve, enabling the vehicle to handle complex conditions with ease during heavy-load operations. Advanced emission treatment solutions and excellent power performance are the concentrated manifestations of John Deere's product advantages.

The PowrQuad™ PLUS transmission brings higher efficiency

The 6M offers two types of gearboxes to choose from: 16x16 30K and 20x20 40K. Among them, the 6M-2104 can be optionally equipped with a 20x20 40K transmission, featuring more gears, a higher maximum speed, higher operational efficiency, and a faster transfer and transportation speed. Meanwhile, this transmission offers three new features: speed matching, flexible shifting and reverse gear optimization. Speed matching enables the operator to automatically match the current traveling speed when shifting gears between sections, significantly reducing the jolts caused by speed differences. Flexible shifting is to make the power shift more smooth and the disconnection more seamless when shifting gears within a certain range. The significance of reverse gear optimization lies in the fact that the operator can set the backward speed ratio, better control the reverse gear speed, and not only quickly change direction but also take safety into account.

The traction operation is more outstanding

The long wheelbase and large counterweight make the 6-meter traction operation more outstanding. The wheelbase of the 6M series tractors reaches 2800mm. Such a long wheelbase is truly outstanding in the 165-210 horsepower range. The front counterweight is 1300kg, and the vehicle weight (minimum usable weight) reaches 7200kg (for the 210-horsepower model). The combination of wheelbase and weight, along with the upgrade of tires, endows the 6M series tractors with outstanding towing performance. This will greatly meet users' demands for job efficiency.

The field management system iTEC made a grand debut

The 6M tractor is equipped with the iTEC field management system, which not only enhances the technical content of the tractor but also makes it work more efficiently. This system can control with one click the automatic engagement and disengagement of the PTO shaft, the automatic engagement and disengagement of the front drive, the automatic engagement and disengagement of the differential lock, as well as the lifting and lowering height of the rear lift system. It has truly achieved one-click operation at the field edge, which will greatly enhance the efficiency of turning at the field edge and increase the effective working time.
