Sany Heavy Industry: Two 1,000-ton class devices are lifted by two machines. Even through the screen, it feels astonishing!

Recently, at the site of the Hebei Huafeng coke Oven flue gas treatment Project constructed by China Fifth Engineering & Construction Corporation, SCC17000TM and SCC15000TM successfully completed the hoisting of the main truss on the machine side of No. 6 coke oven in the First Branch Factory within just 7 hours, providing a strong guarantee for production and the stability of the oven body.

The clear distance between the No. 6 coke oven side push coke car track sliding line and the mountain and pipe gallery frame is 8.9 meters. Not only is there not enough assembly space for hoisting equipment, but also there is not sufficient hoisting space. Moreover, the previous hoisting plan cannot be adopted. Therefore, the construction difficulty has increased several times. In addition, in order not to affect production, the owner only gave a 10-hour gap as the time for hoisting.

With tight schedules and heavy tasks, the early construction deployment and scheme planning are even more crucial.

For this reason, the project department and the expert group, in conjunction with the construction teams, hoisting machinery professional engineers and operation technicians, conducted multiple discussions and innovations on the hoisting plan. At the same time, they utilized BIM technology to simulate environmental parameters and the entire hoisting process, dynamically analyzing the collision conditions of the steel truss with the sliding contact line and the coke oven body under each working condition during its high-altitude bypass. Optimize the operation steps and select the crawler crane.

It was finally determined that the truss would be pulled in sections, assembled, adjusted as a whole and formed in one go outside the sliding line of the coke pushing car. One SCC15000TM would be set at the end platform between the sliding line of the coke pushing car and the coke oven body, and one SCC17000TM would be set at the intermediate platform for double-machine lifting.

Since the beginning of February this year, the project department has started to plan the traveling route of the crawler crane and treat the foundation of the hoisting station to set up the traveling platform. In mid-March, the trusses to be hoisted will be assembled and combined. By the end of April, the overall formation and quality inspection of the trusses will be completed. On April 25th, two super-large tonnage crawler cranes began to be assembled on site, and they were ready for lifting on May 6th.

The hoisting operation officially began at 9 a.m. on May 7th. The SCC15000TM and SCC17000TM worked together to lift the main truss, weighing 440 tons and measuring 120 meters in length, around the sliding line and above the track between the side of the machine and the push-coke machine. Then they moved with the load, adjusted the hoisting posture and stabilized the truss. Subsequently, SCC15000TM increased the counterweight to 370 tons and, together with SCC17000TM, lifted the truss onto the door-shaped support on the furnace top to achieve positioning and complete the hoisting.

This hoisting operation marks the first time that a domestic coking enterprise has used a large-tonnage crawler crane to hoist a super-large component under the production conditions of a coke oven.
