Recently, the first construction of the world's largest tonnage rear-mounted rotary drilling rig, XCMG XR468F, officially kicked off. At the Zengtian Expressway construction site in Baiyun District, Guangzhou City, the XCMG XR468F was full of vigor and vitality, with a roaring machine sound. The construction area is extensively covered with granite-like rocks, with local metamorphic strata and Quaternary loose layers. The geological structure is complex. The construction pile diameter is 1.8 meters, the pile depth is 30 to 36 meters, and the hole is drilled into the rock at 10 meters. The rock hardness is greater than 100 mpa. It is precisely under such highly challenging construction conditions that The project team chose the newly purchased first rear-mounted rotary drilling rig XR468F for training.

Making its debut, the XR468F lived up to expectations and achieved outstanding results. With an average construction efficiency of completing one pile in 24 hours, it received full marks from on-site engineering technicians, operators, and project supervisors, opening up the market with its strength.

The XCMG XR468F rotary drilling rig is equipped with an imported 15L Cummins latest platform high-pressure common rail engine, and is fitted with a hydraulic system featuring a large-displacement main pump and a high-flow main valve, ensuring a powerful output of the hydraulic system. It can directly reach the drill pipe and drill tool working devices without reservation, achieving an extremely high working efficiency. The power head features a large torque of 490 KN.m.
