Maintenance
Maintenance and Storage of Machines in Cold Seasons (Part One
Fuel
When working in cold areas in winter, sometimes the fuel freezes and the engine has difficulty starting. So please use fuel (diesel) that is compatible with the outside temperature.
Because diesel contains paraffin, once it solidifies, it cannot flow, and the vehicle naturally cannot start. In addition to replacing the diesel and diesel filter, the water in the oil-water separator and the drain valve at the bottom of the fuel tank should also be drained. In winter, once diesel solidifies, it must not be heated by open flame. Instead, it should be heated with hot water or steam. If conditions do not permit, the machine can only be left to thaw naturally under the warm sun.
Coolant
The standard antifreeze for IHISCE machines comes in two specifications: -15℃ and -35℃ durable coolant (LLC and JIS specifications). The specific ambient temperature for the antifreeze to be used is marked on the rear of the radiator as shown in the following figure. Please check whether the temperature indicated on the sign is in line with the local minimum outdoor temperature for use. If not in compliance, please replace the antifreeze.
