Sany Heavy Industry: On-site Observation of the construction of SAC24000T and SCL10000!

On September 1st, in Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia, the world's largest all-terrain crane, SAC 24,000T, and the world's largest tonnage all-terrain truss boom crane, SCL10000, stood facing each other. More than a hundred guests from wind power construction units and hoisting enterprises across the country witnessed their graceful and imposing figures together.

Highlight 1: The SAC24000T is powerfully hoisted

Not long ago, the SAC24000T just completed its first flight. While you were still marveling at its vigorous momentum, you might not have expected that it had already moved to the fifth position. At 10:18 a.m., the window period for hoisting began. With the instruction given, the 6.25MW nacler, weighing a total of 152 tons (including the lifting gear), lifted off the ground. After 30 minutes, it reached a height of 105 meters and was firmly placed on the tower. The SAC24000T once again successfully completed the hoisting task, shortening the hoisting time by 15 minutes compared to the last time.

This hoisting operation adopts the working condition of a main boom of 78m+ auxiliary boom of 44m and a counterweight of 240t. He Chenghu from Ningxia Julishen Construction Machinery Group Co., Ltd. introduced, "Although the wind speed during the hoisting today was not ideal, it was still very easy for our equipment." Because it has a very sufficient safety margin, its load rate is far less than 80%. In addition, this 2,400-ton vehicle has a very high transfer efficiency. The process of removing the auxiliary boom, superlifting and counterweight took less than 3.5 hours in total.

Highlight 2: Experience the powerful aura of the SCL10000

At the event site, the SCL10000 stood by the side. Its red, white and black paint job was very eye-catching. The novel combination of the all-ground chassis and truss arms firmly captured everyone's attention. The all-terrain truss boom crane has broken the design concept of traditional crane products, integrating the rapid movement capability of all-terrain cranes and the lifting performance of truss boom crawler cranes. As a brand-new type of crane, it fills the gap in the industry.

Zhou Jingquan, the general manager of Beijing Baihua Hengshi Equipment Installation Engineering Co., LTD., said, "Currently, the all-terrain truss boom cranes on the market are difficult to meet the hoisting requirements of large-scale wind turbines. However, the performance of the SCL10000 in wind power conditions is basically the same as that of crawler cranes of the same tonnage." In addition, the all-ground chassis can carry turntables and masts for heavy-load transfer, featuring strong capabilities and high efficiency.

Key Point Three: Grasp the "big" trend of the wind power industry

At the afternoon exchange meeting, an expert made a prediction on the development of the wind power industry: "The average annual new installed capacity in the next five years will reach about 55 to 58 million kilowatts. By 2025, the cumulative installed capacity will be approximately 550 to 580 million kilowatts, and by 2026, the cumulative installed capacity will exceed 600 to 640 million kilowatts." Under the economic demand, the trend of larger wind turbines is obvious.

At present, the wind power industry has reached a new historical turning point. Higher single-unit power means taller towers, heavier hubs and longer blades, which puts forward stricter requirements for the lifting capacity and stability of hoisting equipment. Facing irreversible trends, Sany cranes have demonstrated a strong competitive edge.
