Highlights Introduction

The Nanning-Zhanjiang Expressway is a highway in China that connects Nanning City in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Zhanjiang City in Guangdong Province. It is one of the 11 provincial exit channels in Guangdong's expressway network that link Guangxi, and also the "Connection 13" in Guangxi's expressway network layout of "1 ring, 12 horizontals, 13 verticals and 25 links". As a key project, the construction of this expressway is extremely strict in terms of surface quality control. This project has adopted the Fugler Super 2100-3L in collaboration with the classic HD series models HD 138 and the new generation HD 148i VV of Hummer.

In this project, the operator drove the HD 148i VV high-frequency heavy-duty double steel wheel and set the vibration frequency of 60 Hz with one click on the control panel. In the subsequent operation process, there is no need to control the frequency by adjusting the throttle by hand as in the previous old models. The equipment is not affected by the engine load and maintains a stable frequency throughout the compaction operation.

Even more easily, the HD 148i VV is equipped with an AUTO automatic start and stop vibration function. Once the operator activates the AUTO button, the HAMMTRONIC intelligent compaction control system acts like the nervous system of the equipment, capable of monitoring the driving speed in real time and automatically starting vibration when the equipment enters a reasonable driving speed range. And stop vibrating when the driving speed exceeds this range.

When the operator combines the maximum traveling speed setting function of the new HD model, the equipment can not only automatically start and stop vibrating, but also there is no need to worry about overspeed compaction due to misoperation. The operator only needs to push the handle to control the forward and backward movement of the equipment, and turn the steering wheel when necessary. The compaction operation can be fully handled by the equipment itself through the intelligent compaction control system.

In large-scale compaction operation projects like expressways where there is a need to compete for work, the intelligent vibration function of HD 148i VV not only significantly reduces the labor intensity of the operators, but also makes the compaction operation less affected by the actual experience and operation level of the operators. This also means that not only is the operator's operation efficiency higher, but the compaction control is more precise, and thus the overall compaction quality is further improved. In coordination with the Fogler Super 2100-3L operation, the surface layer after the initial pressing has already demonstrated a very high degree of flatness
