The main causes of such malfunctions are as follows:

(1) The hydraulic transmission oil of the torque converter was not added as specified in the manual, but substandard hydraulic transmission oil was added at will.

(2) The filter element fixed to the transmission housing is dirty, causing the filter element to be clogged and resulting in insufficient oil supply pressure.

(3) Abnormal wear of the thrust bearing and thrust ring of the hydraulic torque converter generates iron particles that cause the distribution valve in the valve assembly to get stuck, resulting in internal oil backflow.

(4) The valve stem of the distribution valve in the valve assembly is worn, resulting in internal pressure relief.

(5) Abnormal wear of the ball bearings and thrust bearings in the gear set generates iron particles that cause the distribution valve to act stuck, leading to the backflow of the oil inside.

Abnormal wear of the needle roller bearings in the pump assembly causes a slight longitudinal displacement of the driven gear during operation and changes in the oil supply volume.

(7) The contact surfaces between the pump body, pump cover and the driving and driven gears in the pump assembly are worn, and the oil in the inner cavity is depressified.

To eliminate such faults, the following points should be noted:

(1) The qualified hydraulic transmission oil should be replaced in accordance with the provisions of the manual and in a timely manner.

(2) Regularly maintain or replace the filter element fixed to the transmission housing.

(3) The torque converter should be disassembled and inspected regularly, and the thrust bearing and thrust ring should be replaced in a timely manner.

(4) The valve stem of the valve assembly can be treated with spraying technology. The disadvantage is that its service life is very short and the valve assembly can be replaced.

(5) The needle roller bearings and thrust bearings of the gear set should be disassembled and inspected regularly. It is recommended to replace the bearings before one major overhaul cycle. If forced to use, it can cause abnormal wear or broken teeth of gears, resulting in greater economic losses.

(6) The needle roller bearings of the pump assembly must be replaced in a timely manner after abnormal wear. As it is difficult to purchase each accessory individually, the entire assembly is usually replaced.

(7) When the contact surfaces between the pump body and pump cover of the pump assembly and the driving and driven gears are worn, they are generally repaired by grinding, with a grinding allowance not exceeding 0.5mm.

2? The oil is overheating.

The main cause of overheating of the oil temperature is the slippage of the clutch in first gear, second gear and reverse gear. In severe cases, the housing becomes hot to the touch and the oil spurts out from the torque converter's oil filling port.

The reasons for the excessively high oil temperature in the torque converter and transmission are as follows:

(1) Excessive wear of the friction plates causes the lubricating oil grooves on the surface to become shallower. Due to the reduced amount of oil passing through, the heat dissipation effect deteriorates.

(2) The quality of domestic friction plates is substandard, leading to premature wear and causing the oil temperature to overheat.

(3) When assembling the clutch, the friction plates and steel plates should be assembled strictly in accordance with the specified quantity. If one friction plate or one steel plate is omitted for the convenience of assembly or to reduce costs, although it can still be used temporarily, it will cause the oil temperature to rise.

To eliminate such faults, the following points should be noted:

When conducting disassembly spot checks, the wear depth of the oil groove on the friction plate must not exceed 0.1mm. The unevenness of the warpage of the steel sheet shall not exceed 1mm. If the repair limit is exceeded, it should be replaced in time.

(2) Although replacing the imported friction plates of the original machine is expensive, it can ensure that they meet the technical requirements of the original machine's operation.

(3) Assemble the friction plates and steel plates in the quantity required by the original machine.

3? Leakage occurs at the connection of the front cover of the torque converter transmission

The main reason for oil leakage at the connection between the front cover of the hydraulic torque converter and the front cover housing of the transmission is that the O-ring was scratched during assembly. The screws at the connection are loose. The O-ring is of substandard quality.

As dealing with this leakage point is cumbersome, it is recommended that original imported O-rings be installed.

4? Difficulty in shifting gears

The FL460 type loader cannot shift gears, which is generally caused by the change in the lateral displacement between the distribution valve and the tie rod. The specific reasons are mainly the wear of the tie rod ball joint or the loosening of the adjustment lock cap.
