Highlights of MS18

The MS18/MSE18 motor is specially developed for compaction equipment. It not only meets the requirements of cost efficiency and space constraints, but also has gained trust in China and throughout Asia.

The compact and sturdy bearing bracket can withstand a gravitational acceleration of 20g. Compared with machines using high-speed motors and transmission components, the direct drive device can enhance efficiency, prevent backflow, and improve the flexibility of use at low speeds. The starting performance of MS18/MSE18 is 15% higher than that of the high-speed motor and gearbox combination, and the overall performance is 12% higher. Therefore, the operator can easily start up and bypass obstacles on the hillside.

This motor is suitable for roller models ranging from 8 to 14 tons (8.8 to 15 US tons), with motor displacement ranging from 1 to 2.8 liters. The maximum braking force of the parking brake is 19,000 Nm, enabling seamless machine integration. In terms of machine structure, the silentbloc shock absorber can be placed either between the steel wheel and the motor or between the motor and the installation bracket. This enables the manufacturer's machine structure to be more flexible than that of high-speed motors, which need to be completely isolated from the steel wheels.
