The "nine-yuan era" of oil prices has arrived, and Yuchai K11 has its own fuel-saving methods
On June 15th, after a new round of refined oil price adjustment, domestic oil prices fully entered the "9-yuan era". As the largest part of operating expenses, the level of oil prices directly affects the income of truck users. Fuel economy has become the most concerned topic for current truck users. The recently launched JAC Chaoyue Q7, equipped with a 460-horsepower Yuchai K11 National VI engine, is a fuel-efficient truck that has been widely discussed in the industry.
This Yuchai K11 engine has been specially designed for the working conditions of tractors. It is powerful and can generate a peak torque of up to 2200N·m when the engine is in the 1000-1500 RPM range.
In addition, the Yuchai K11 series National VI engines are renowned for their fuel efficiency and are known as the lightest 11-liter engines in the industry. The flywheel housing, cooler and other components of the gear chamber of this engine are extensively made of aluminum alloy materials, which is conducive to the lightweighting of the engine. It is more than 15% lighter than competing products with the same configuration. Moreover, the Yuchai K11 has achieved extremely low fuel consumption in multiple fuel-saving competitions. Compared with engines of the same power, its fuel consumption per 100 kilometers has been reduced by 1-2 liters. Based on the current Beijing diesel price of 9.1 yuan per liter and a monthly mileage of 20,000 kilometers, nearly 2,000 yuan can be saved on fuel each month.
Meanwhile, the B10 lifespan of the Yuchai K11 engine is as high as 1.8 million kilometers. If calculated based on an annual operating mileage of 300,000 kilometers, this engine will not require major maintenance within five years, significantly reducing the maintenance costs for truck owners, increasing the time on the road, and truly helping truck drivers achieve more and earn more.
