Maintenance requirements for tire rollers
To keep the tire roller in good technical condition all the time, the following main maintenance work should be done:
(1) Each shift should check and tighten the bolts of all components, check the tire pressure and whether the bearings are overheated.
(2) Add lubricating grease as prescribed.
(3) Regularly check and adjust the axial clearance of the rolling wheel. The normal axial clearance is 0.10 to 0.15 mm. The adjusted axial clearance should enable the roller to rotate freely without obvious axial movement.
(4) During use, if the air pressure of each roller is inconsistent, the bearings are loose, the axial clearance is too large, the front wheel channel steel and fork feet are deformed, and the rear wheel bracket is deformed, etc., it will all cause uneven wear of the tires. When the tires show uneven wear, the rolling wheels will shake or vibrate, affecting the compaction quality. Therefore, when the roller has been in operation for 500 to 600 hours or half a year, the installation positions of each roller should be changed to make the tire wear more uniform.
(5) When the tire roller is in operation at a different location, the tire pressure should be maintained at 0.6 to 0.65 MPa. The traveling distance should not be too far, and the traveling speed should comply with the regulations specified in the corresponding model manual.
(6) If the roller is to be parked for a long time, the body should be lifted to reduce the deformation of the tires under pressure.
(7) Regularly inspect and maintain the reliability of the brake operation.
(8) Repair or replace the damaged parts according to the specific situation to ensure the normal function of the roller. All technical maintenance of the roller should be carried out in accordance with the technical maintenance requirements for smooth wheel rollers.
Precautions for changing lubricating oil
(1) The lubricating oil in the engine should be drained after the engine has stopped, that is, before the oil temperature is high and impurities in the oil settle, and the oil in the oil filter should also be removed. After draining all the old lubricating oil from the oil drain hole, start the engine and let it run for a few weeks. Then all the old lubricating oil will be drained out.
(2) The old lubricating oil in the transmission must also be drained at high temperatures.
(3) When adding grease, all the old grease should be drained completely and the grade of grease must not be changed frequently.
