Key points to note when replacing coolant for winter stock harvesters

Replacement of the coolant in the auxiliary water tank

Check whether the water level in the auxiliary water tank is within the "FULL" and "LOW" range. Add pure water from the water supply port of the auxiliary water tank and check for any leakage at the same time.

Replace the coolant in the main water tank

Remove the engine compartment cover, take off the water drain plug, and empty the water in the main radiator.

② Remove the main water tank cover and rinse off the garbage and rust with clean water.

When injecting detergent mixed with the main radiator cleaning solution, the engine should idle for 15 minutes and then drain the water. In this way, the main radiator will be cleaner.

③ Install the water drain plug, add the necessary amount of antifreeze, and then fill it up with pure water.

④ Install the main radiator cap and start the engine to ensure that the antifreeze and pure water are thoroughly mixed.

Mixing ratio: Pure water and Yanmar advanced antifreeze. The mixing ratio is set at -15℃ for cold resistance at the factory, that is, 70% water and 30% antifreeze. When the outside temperature is below -15℃, the mixing ratio should be changed at this time.

Precautions for operation

When replacing the new cooling water, antifreeze must be added. Let the engine idle for 5 minutes to allow the antifreeze to mix as soon as possible.

The mixing ratio may vary slightly by manufacturer. Please follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer.

When the cooling water is consumed naturally, only pure water needs to be added.

The main radiator cap must not be opened when the engine is running or just stopped (especially after the hot water boils over), otherwise hot water will spray out and cause scalding, which is very dangerous.
