Construction Site Report: Three "Ma" Battles in Wujiu

At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, outside the Hulao Pass, the Three Heroes fought against Lu Bu, making the Three brothers of Taoyuan famous throughout the land in one battle. In 2022, at the construction site of the Wujiu Expressway in Longnan, Gansu Province, one Marini MAT320, two Marini MAC320, and three Marini 4000 type asphalt mixing machines, both new and old, shone brightly at the Wujiu Expressway construction site.

On the morning of December 31, 2022, the opening ceremony of the 71-kilometer section of the Wudu to Jiuzhaigou Expressway, from the Jugan Interchange to the Linjiang Interchange and from the Wenxian East Interchange to the Shijiba Interchange, which were invested and constructed by the Gansu Provincial Public Aviation and Tourism Group, was held at the Waina Toll Station. The Wujiu Expressway is an important passage for Longnan, Gansu Province to integrate into the "Jiuzhai Grand Tourism Circle". It is a dual demonstration project of "Quality Project" and "Green Highway" by the Ministry of Transport. It is currently the expressway project with the highest bridge-tunnel ratio and the greatest comprehensive construction difficulty in Gansu Province. With the outstanding performance of its products, Marlini successfully completed the production task of asphalt mixture for the newly opened Wujiu Expressway.

Evaluation of MAT320 on the First Section of the Wujiu Expressway Pavement

Usage status

The MAT320 of Shaanxi Senhe Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. began installation and commissioning in June 2022 and started production at the end of July. By December 23rd, it had cumulatively discharged 270,000 tons of materials.

From November 16th to November 17th, they worked continuously for 31 hours, with an average output of 260 tons per hour and a maximum of 276 tons per hour, producing 8,000 tons of AC13 rubber modified asphalt material.

The outstanding performance of the equipment was highly praised by all parties at the construction site, and the situation was informed to Marlene immediately. Among the three sections of the entire project, China Railway 16th Bureau was the first to complete the pavement laying.

At present, this MAT320 has been produced for hundreds of thousands of tons. All the components of the equipment have gone through the running-in period and are in the best condition. It will be used at more construction sites and serve more highway projects in the future.

The design of the main building is derived from TOP TOWER in Europe. The drum dust collector is derived from the MAC series and continues the advantages of the MAC series.

The mixing pot adopts an asymmetric mixing pot, which is of the same series as the 6T mixing pot used in MAT440 and FRT360, ensuring the continuation of the quality of Marlene.
