Improvement plan for MAP175 asphalt Concrete Mixing Plant
Our company introduced a MAP175E220L type asphalt concrete mixing plant produced by the Italian MARINI Company in 1999. This equipment has produced 350,000 tons of asphalt mixture, creating considerable economic benefits for the unit. After several years of use and observation, in combination with the specific construction environment, in order to enable the equipment to achieve its maximum efficiency, the following technical improvement suggestions are put forward for the equipment.
It is inappropriate to connect the discharge port of the waste silo with the overflow port of the hot material silo in the MAP175 type asphalt concrete mixing plant. When production is suspended due to sudden malfunctions in actual production, the limited space in the hot material silo causes the screened hot materials to overflow and mix with the waste materials, resulting in a huge waste. Therefore, it is suggested that these two outlets be set up separately so that the overflowed hot materials can still be reused. This can save materials and reduce costs.
This equipment has strict requirements for raw materials, but there is no screen installed above the cold storage bin. Our local material sources are not suitable for it. Due to the fact that some large stones are prone to be mixed in the raw materials, the conveyor belt of the feeder is likely to be scratched during production, and it also causes certain damage to the rollers and vibrating screens
Therefore, it is recommended that a screen with a size of 100mm×100mm be installed on the cold material silo in a timely manner after the introduction of this equipment, and a vibrator be added to prevent large stone materials from entering the cold material silo. This not only maintains the equipment but also ensures the quality of the finished materials.
Due to the presence of some weathered materials in the river sand and a large amount of pebbles ranging from 13.2 to 26.5mm, this part of the material has a significant impact on the quality of the finished product. Therefore, the river sand must be sieved before entering the drying drum. Based on the screening principle of the hot material silo, we added an additional vibrating screen outside the cold material silo. We used an eccentric vibrating shaft as the vibrator and a curved spring plate as the elastic material to process and manufacture a vibrating screen. With this vibrating screen, large pebbles and weathered stones in the river sand can be screened out. Practice has proved that this not only saves fuel but also ensures the quality of asphalt mixture, providing a good foundation for building high-quality projects.
This equipment requires that the voltage fluctuation range used should be within ±5%. However, due to the fact that the heat transfer oil furnace needs to be started early and the peak electricity consumption periods of power grids in different regions vary, the voltage fluctuation is relatively large, sometimes exceeding 20%, which causes significant damage to the control components of the heat transfer oil furnace. Therefore, it is suggested that
During the usage process, a stabilizing transformer is used for power supply, and thus the problem can be solved.
It is suggested that the diesel burner of the drying drum be changed to a heavy oil plus diesel burner. The burner of the drying drum of this equipment can use inferior residual oil as fuel. Therefore, users can change the diesel burner to a heavy oil and diesel burner according to their actual needs. After the modification, the renovation funds can be recovered by producing about 100,000 tons of finished materials.
It is recommended that each cold hopper in the cold material silo be equipped with an industrial control computer display screen to monitor the aggregate level of the hopper. If necessary, an alarm will be issued to notify the control room to prevent material shortage caused by the negligence of the loader operator.
Sometimes, mixing equipment is also used in squares, sidewalks, or rural roads. The hot asphalt mixtures used in these projects do not require precise gradation. To reduce unnecessary wear and tear of the vibrating screen and power consumption, it is recommended to add a bypass bin at the hot aggregate silo of the MAP175 asphalt mixing plant. When precise gradation is not required, the hot aggregates do not need to be screened by the vibrating screen and can directly enter the mixing pot through the bypass bin for mixing.
