The handling method when the crusher is clogged: Clogging of the crusher is one of the common faults in the use of the crusher. It may be due to problems in the design of the equipment, but more often it is caused by improper operation.
(1) The feeding speed is too fast, the load increases, and blockage occurs. During the feeding process, always pay attention to the large deflection Angle of the ammeter pointer. If it exceeds the rated current, it indicates that the motor is overloaded. Long-term overload will burn out the motor. When this situation occurs, the material door should be immediately reduced or closed. Alternatively, the feeding method can be changed, and the feeding amount can be controlled by adding a feeder. There are two types of feeders: manual and automatic. Users should choose the appropriate feeder based on their actual situation. Due to the high rotational speed and heavy load of the crusher, as well as the strong fluctuation of the load. Therefore, the current of the crusher during operation is generally controlled at around 85% of the rated current.
(2) If the discharge pipe is not unobstructed or blocked and the feeding is too fast, it will cause the air inlet of the crusher to be blocked. Improper matching with the conveying equipment can cause the air in the discharge pipeline to weaken or even get blocked when there is no air. After identifying the fault, the mismatched conveying equipment at the feed port should be cleared first, and the feed volume should be adjusted to ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
(3) Hammer fragments, aging, closed and damaged screen holes, and excessive moisture content of the crushed materials can all cause blockage of the crusher. Broken and severely aged hammer pieces should be updated regularly to maintain the good working condition of the crusher. The screen should also be inspected regularly. The moisture content of the crushed materials should be less than 14%. This can not only improve production efficiency but also prevent the crusher from clogging and enhance the reliability of the crusher's operation.
