The fully computerized three-arm rock drilling jumper of CRRC Heavy Industry contributes to the construction of pumped storage power stations
Recently, the ZYS113-FLA fully computerized three-arm rock drilling rig of CRRC Heavy Industry was conducting 6-meter and 9-meter system anchor hole operations at the construction site of a pumped storage power station in Zhejiang Province.
To address the issues of single function, poor flexibility and low construction efficiency of existing mechanical equipment, CRRC Heavy Industry has developed this fully computerized three-arm rock drilling rig. The whole machine is 17.6 meters long, 2.9 meters wide, with a maximum working height of 11.3 meters and a maximum working width of 16.6 meters. The maximum drilling depth of a single rod is 5.2 meters. The rock drill has a large power and a fast drilling speed. The drilling and blasting holes can reach 3 to 5 meters per minute. The trolley is equipped with a fully computerized control system, featuring automatic, efficient and intelligent drilling, anchor bolt construction, coordination with grouting and pipe roof reinforcement, coordination with charging and roughening, advanced geological exploration and analysis, contour scanning of the excavation face, storage and transmission of rock drilling parameters and data, and other digital functions. At the same time, it has functions such as anti-jamming and anti-beating of drill rods, fault diagnosis, and construction log recording. According to customer requirements, the functions can be expanded and upgraded. For instance, hydraulic drill clamps and rod connection mechanisms can be optionally equipped to enable the trolley to carry out long anchor rod construction and advanced drilling hole construction of ≥30 meters.
On site, the trolley is placed perpendicularly to the working surface. Three drill arms can be used simultaneously to construct anchor bolt holes. The trolley's computer can precisely display the construction angles of each anchor bolt hole. The operation is convenient and efficient. The probability of stuck drilling and hole collapse is less than 10% (directly related to the damage of the surrounding rock and the interlayer). Since the equipment entered the site at the end of July this year, it has completed the construction of approximately 15 anchor bolt holes. Using 21-foot drill pipes and φ64 drill bits, it takes about 6 minutes to complete the construction of a 6-meter anchor bolt hole. With a 21-foot drill pipe, a 10-foot quick drill pipe and a φ89 drill bit, the construction of a 9-meter anchor hole can be completed in approximately 12 minutes. The construction process was efficient and stable, and was highly recognized by the client.
CRRC Heavy Industry will adhere to the customer demand-oriented approach, carry out independent innovation, vigorously develop information-based and intelligent construction equipment, and contribute to the intelligent construction of tunnels in China.
