Cutting-edge technology has enabled Linglong Tires to launch a god-level new product, surpassing the EU's "AA1" grade quality
With the increasing depletion of oil resources and the intensification of the greenhouse effect, energy conservation, emission reduction and environmental protection have been receiving more and more attention from countries around the world. In 2010, countries such as the European Union and Japan raised the requirements for tire rolling resistance, wet skid and noise to the regulatory level.
To meet the highest requirements of the EU labeling Law, the Research Institute of Shandong Linglong Tire Co., Ltd. and the Advanced Elastomer Materials Research Center of Beijing University of Chemical Technology have established a special research team to develop new high-level and high-grade tire products in response to the highest grade "AA1" level of the EU labeling Law.
New Product Introduction
The new product, leveraging the research platforms of Linglong Tire Research Institute and the State Key Laboratory of Organic-Inorganic Composites at Beijing University of Chemical Technology, organically integrates fundamental research such as cross-scale simulation calculations and the percolation-viscoelastic mechanism of nano-reinforced rubber with the development of high-performance tread rubber nano-composite material formulas. It scientifically applies special new materials and develops advanced continuous mixing processes. The network structure regulation and functional coupling of multi-component and multi-scale materials have been achieved, and the tire structure and pattern arrangement have been scientifically designed at the same time.
The new product can effectively reduce the sliding distance between the tires and the ground during braking, greatly enhancing the safety performance of the tires on wet roads. At the same time, it can also significantly lower the energy loss of the tires during use, saving the vehicle's fuel consumption.
In July 2019, the development of two specifications of products was completed, both reaching the AA1 level. The rolling resistance of the 205/55R16 and 235/55R19 specification products is below 6.0, the wet slip index is above 1.60, and the passing noise is 68dB. The indicators meet the AA1 level of the EU Labeling Act, and the performance of wet slip and rolling resistance parameters is superior to the requirements of the EU labeling regulations. At present, this product has been successfully applied in Linglong Tire's domestic and international vehicle supporting projects.

The current highest grade of the EU labeling Law is AA1, which means A wet slip index, A rolling resistance and a noise level of 1. The successful development of Linglong Tire's AA1 project fully demonstrates the company's R&D capabilities and the power of cooperation among industry, academia and research. It provides a solid technical guarantee for the company to continue to expand the European market and enhance brand value.

And independently develop special products for urban rail transit. It has won two national-level science and technology awards, namely the Second Prize of National Technological Invention and the Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress.
